Isembard's Wheel is a powerfully poetic band of fiery folk heroes, lead by the Byronic wanderer Alexander "Fox" Isembard.  The IW ethos is a passionate celebration and ardent defence of the power of people, place and protest.  IW have been delighting audiences since 2012 with the release of their debut EP "Autumn in Eden", which was then followed with a full CD release entitled "Common Ground" in 2017.  They've taken in festival stages around the UK and have supported such acts as Funke & The Two-Tone Baby and Holy Moly & The Crackers.

Their latest release, "Long Run The Fox, Long Fly The Lark" (2023), sold out on launch night and is a love letter to the lanscape and the many protected species that dwell just on the edge of our daily lives: from the mad amber eyes of the fleet-footed hare, to the velvet wings of the oft-overlooked bats.

Isembard's Wheel are a force to be reckoned with, featuring an ever rotating ensemble of some of the finest musicians in the scene and a big damn attitude to boot..
